Barbra Rogoff

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Seeing clients virtually in NC, SC, and VA. I believe anyone can move past obstacles and experience a more fulfilling life and, sometimes we need a little support getting there. Working together we can uncover your strengths and better understand and resolve the challenges in your life.

About Me

I provide a supportive, collaborative space where we can explore your unique path to growth. Together, we will uncover your inherent strengths and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. My approach helps individuals move beyond current obstacles, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. This tailored support is ideal for anyone ready to embrace a more fulfilling and empowered life.

Approach

I work to build a strong relationship with each client, one that promotes trust, awareness, and understanding. To that end, I see counseling as a collaborative effort. One in which we are partners, without expectations or judgments, who talk with each other not at each other. Although I utilize many theories and techniques, my approach is primarily based on the beliefs that you are a unique and capable individual and how and what you think impacts your core beliefs, feelings, and actions. These beliefs are grounded in the Cognitive Theories, most notably Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and the Humanistic Theories. By utilizing complementary therapy approaches and techniques we can work together to uncover your strengths and change the patterns and beliefs holding you back from experiencing a more rewarding and meaningful life. My goal is to help you discover your true self so you may lead a life that is most fulfilling for you.
