Azra Kapetanovic
Clinical Psychologist
“"Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional." Feeling lost? As a Canadian/Serbian clinical psychologist and CBT psychotherapist specializing in anxiety and depression, I provide a safe space where you can overcome challenges, heal, and empower yourself to live a more fulfilling life.”
About Me
Approach
Every client has their own unique story, and that story deserves an individualised approach. My priority is ensuring that you feel truly seen and heard. From there, we can begin our work together.
My approach is centred on understanding the core issues affecting your mind and how they impact your daily life. Think of us as a team—we’ll work collaboratively to identify and address the thought patterns that may be holding you back. I use practical, evidence-based strategies to help you manage stress, anxiety, or any other challenges you may be facing.
With an initial foundation in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I strive to offer an integrative approach that combines the structured, goal-oriented principles of CBT with the humanistic, person-centered elements of Schema Therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness-based techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to provide a well-rounded and personalised therapeutic experience.
My goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to make lasting positive changes. We’ll navigate this journey together, enhancing your self-awareness and empowering you to face life’s challenges with greater confidence.
