Mrs Ashley Kwan

Psychotherapist (Registered)

An experiences, competent, and compassionate Art Therapist and Psychotherapist working with adults, youth, and children.

About Me

This experienced and compassionate psychotherapist supports adults, youth, and children in exploring their inner worlds. Through a blend of art therapy and talking therapy, sessions offer a gentle space for self-discovery. Creative expression can illuminate challenging emotions and unspoken thoughts. This approach is well-suited for individuals seeking a supportive environment to process experiences and foster personal growth, regardless of age or background.

Approach

The inner landscape often reveals itself through a rhythm of making and reflection, with sessions paced to what feels manageable. In my Toronto studio I combine hands-on creative moments with gentle verbal checking-in, moving between short art tasks and focused dialogue so feelings can be seen, named, and shaped into small, practical steps. Between meetings I may offer brief coaching prompts or reflective invitations to keep momentum. This way of working tends to help people navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, or past abuse.
