Mrs Arzu Aksu Chapman

Counselor

I am a fully qualified and registered counsellor who focuses on supporting clients going through relationship issues, depression, anxiety, addiction and ADHD. Coming from a diverse, multicultural background, I am also passionate about helping people from other cultures adjust to life in Australia.

About Me

I am a registered counsellor. I support clients navigating relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I also use my multicultural background to guide individuals from other cultures adjusting to life in Australia. I offer a compassionate, understanding space where your experiences are truly heard. Here, you can explore difficulties and develop practical strategies for your unique journey. My aim is to help you build resilience and find stability.

Approach

Therapy unfolds as a collaborative, paced process where we name what feels most urgent and try small, practical shifts that fit your life. I work with adolescents, adults and couples from my Sydney practice, offering sessions in English and Turkish and online to suit your needs. Sessions blend focused conversation, short in-session exercises and simple between-session tasks that build present-moment skills, clearer values and better attention to what matters. This way of working often helps people facing cultural transition, relationship strain, mood or attention challenges who want steady, practical change.
