Ms Aruna Chakravorty

Psychotherapist

I believe all of us can have better mental health and lead a life of balance and success. Towards this I collaborate with my clients for their goals, using a multi modal approach of humanistic, trauma focused EMDR and somatic ISP therapy combined with deep respect for each person's unique life experiences.

About Me

I believe everyone can achieve better mental health and a balanced, successful life. I collaborate with you, respectfully weaving together humanistic, trauma-focused EMDR, and somatic ISP therapies. This multi-modal approach deeply honours your unique experiences. We work together to address challenges, helping you uncover insights and practical ways forward. Clients seeking a deeply respectful, integrated path to well-being will find a supportive space to grow and thrive.

Approach

Collaboration guides the work, shaping gentle, goal-focused sessions that link bodily awareness, EMDR processing and reflective talk to shift what keeps you stuck. In my Mumbai practice and online, I offer Hindi, Bengali and English sessions and adapt pacing to adult or older clients so the room — virtual or in person — feels steady and clear. Between meetings we set small, doable practices and review progress together, noticing shifts in mood, memory and daily functioning. People coping with trauma, grief or complex mood changes often find this practical, respectful rhythm helpful.
