Integrative Therapy for High-Achieving South Asian & First-Generation Professionals Mindfulness-Based, Culturally Attuned Care in California, Illinois & New York

About Me

I provide integrative, mindfulness-based therapy for high-achieving adults navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, and the quiet pressure of cultural expectations. Many of my clients are South Asian or first-generation professionals who appear capable and successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, self-critical, or emotionally exhausted inside. You may carry responsibility for your family while trying to build an independent life. You may struggle to set boundaries without guilt. You may be tired of overthinking every decision. Therapy with me is not surface-level advice. It is a steady, culturally attuned partnership where we slow down enough to understand what is driving your anxiety, people-pleasing, or burnout. Together, we build sustainable tools for calm, clarity, and confidence, without asking you to abandon your values or ambition.

Approach

My work blends mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and depth-oriented psychotherapy with practical, evidence-informed tools. Sessions are both reflective and actionable. We identify patterns that quietly drain your energy: perfectionism, over-responsibility, conflict avoidance, and experiment with small, meaningful shifts between sessions. As a South Asian, first-generation American therapist, I understand the invisible weight of balancing loyalty and independence, success and self-trust. You do not need to educate me about cultural pressure before we begin the work. I offer therapy in English (and conversational Gujarati), in-person in Ventura, CA and online throughout California, Illinois, and New York. This approach is especially helpful for professionals: lawyers, physicians, tech workers, entrepreneurs, and leaders — who want emotional depth alongside grounded, practical change.
