About Me

As a body-oriented and trauma-informed psychotherapist, I offer support for individuals and couples, focusing on somatic work and awakening the body’s subtle intelligence. This approach opens up a profound understanding of how our nervous and endocrine systems relate to our emotions, thoughts, posture, and underlying state of consciousness and beliefs. Over time, you expand your capacity for self-regulation and resilience, opening the door to greater freedom and joy in life.

Approach

While my core training is in body psychotherapy and somatic work, I have found that integrating other systems allows us to go much deeper than what is usually possible with traditional therapy. In that respect, in addition to body psychotherapy, I incorporate sound, Qi Gong, and the Gene Keys to help you fully embody the new insights that emerge during our sessions. What does this mean for you? If you decide to work with me, you will gain a deep understanding of the complete energetic architecture of the human body. You will learn to track emotions, sensations, and thoughts as they travel through your body, developing the capacity for deep listening and understanding its language. You will come to know how our earliest experiences shape our thoughts, emotions, and reactions in life, allowing hidden beliefs to rise to the surface so they can be transformed into healthy responses. This naturally brings us to relationships. You will begin to understand what attracts us to one another, the underlying dynamics of relationships, and your own responsibility—as well as your ability—to transform any relationship into a more harmonious one, not just intimate ones. This is the work of purifying one’s life, which brings immense clarity. In other words, we begin to live with pure authenticity and freedom. The freedom to be exactly who we are. What does the process look like? You have probably noticed that certain patterns repeat over and over throughout your lifetime. No matter how hard we try, how many books we read, or how many workshops and therapy sessions we attend, they keep resurfacing. This is because these patterns are rooted in the physical body. When the body does not feel safe, trying to force change through willpower alone will only meet resistance from within—leading to suffering and exhaustion. During our sessions, we pay close attention to how your body truly feels and respect its need for safety. Once we become aware of our deepest needs, we stop relying on others and become the ones who can actually fulfill them. We learn to parent ourselves. This is a gradual and gentle process. In many ways, the body is like a flower: you cannot force a flower to open. You can only provide a nourishing environment and hold space until the time is right. Just like a flower, our body opens gradually. And just like a flower, we become more beautiful the more we open up to life. Even though we can map this journey to some extent, this is not a cognitive process. This is a gentle release of the body’s wild wisdom and your own creative, authentic energy.
