As an Educational Psychologist, I work with adolescents and young adults to clarify their academic and cognitive strengths. My focus includes diagnostic assessments for learning, attention, and behavioural challenges. I also provide specific accommodation assessments for exam boards like IEB and Cambridge. For those exploring their future, I offer career Counseling and Grade 9 subject choice guidance. My goal is to help young people make confident, informed decisions about their education.
Approach
I start with focused conversations and short, practical tasks that reveal how a teenager learns, pays attention and copes with school demands. In my Randburg consulting room, conducted in English, sessions are structured and paced to match concentration spans, mixing assessment moments with problem-solving and brief breaks. Between visits I gather observations from caregivers and teachers, translate findings into clear strategies and liaise about appropriate exam accommodations. This hands-on, stepwise way of working suits young people and families who want clear, practical steps to boost school confidence and progress.
