Miss Anmol Marwah, MA

Counseling Psychologist

My promise is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space to help you navigate anxiety, grief, relationships, self-worth, emotional overwhelm, and difficult life experiences through a humanistic, CBT, art therapy, inner-child, and trauma-sensitive approach. My work focuses on helping you understand your emotions and patterns, build self-awareness, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, without judgment, pressure, or the need to pretend you’re okay.

About Me

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to pretend to be okay, have the right words, or figure everything out on your own. We slow things down, understand what you’re feeling and where it comes from, and work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with warmth, curiosity, and without judgment. I work with people who are dealing with anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm or disconnection, self-doubt, relationship struggles, heartbreak, loneliness, body-image concerns, academic or work stress, and life changes that leave them feeling lost or unsure of what comes next. I also work with athletes, helping them build mental toughness, manage performance anxiety, develop confidence, and learn to embrace failure as part of the process.

Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centred. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is not to tell you how to live it, but to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, express what feels difficult, and better understand yourself. Together, we explore your emotions, patterns, relationships, and experiences with curiosity rather than judgment. My work draws from Humanistic and Client-Centered Therapy, IFS Model, CBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Inner Child Healing, and Art Therapy when appropriate. I use these approaches flexibly based on what feels most helpful for you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all method. The aim is not to change who you are, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your needs and emotions, build self-awareness and self-compassion, and find healthier ways of moving through what you’re experiencing. I believe healing happens when you feel heard, understood, and safe enough to be honest with yourself.
