Miss Anju Kumari, MSc

Counseling Psychologist

I support individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, helping them make sense of their experiences with clarity and compassion. Through a trauma-informed approach, I help you regulate your emotions, rebuild self-trust, and create healthier, more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.

About Me

Hi! I’m Anju, a Counselling Psychologist. I am also a certified QPR instructor working towards Suicide Prevention. I work with individuals navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and the impact of past experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, gentle, and paced around what feels safe for you. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating; it can feel like a space where you’re truly heard, understood, and supported without judgment. In our work together, I focus on helping you make sense of your emotions, regulate your inner world, and build a more grounded, connected relationship with yourself. I value authenticity, warmth, and creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Outside of therapy, I find comfort in quiet moments, meaningful conversations, and the simple things that help us feel a little more like ourselves again.

Approach

I believe therapy is not about fixing you, but about creating a space where you feel safe enough to understand yourself more deeply. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative, allowing us to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I focus on helping you explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, while building practical tools for emotional regulation and resilience. Every individual’s journey is unique, which is why I tailor the therapeutic process to your needs and goals. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, healing from past experiences, and creating meaningful, sustainable change that helps you feel more grounded and connected in your daily life.
