Miss Andrea Valentine

Registered Counselor

I am a Registered Counsellor. I provide online short term counselling for adults and adolescents.

About Me

I am a Registered Counselor based in Montagu, Western Cape, South Africa. I work with you on relationship, life transition, behaviour, and career issues. I offer counseling, stress management, and personal development both in person and online.

Approach

Clients find sessions steady and focused, whether meeting face-to-face or via secure online video from my Montagu practice. I listen closely, set short-term goals with you, and use mindful exercises plus practical steps between sessions to track small changes in relationships, career decisions and behaviour. Sessions move at a gentle, task-oriented pace—time for reflection, skill practice and planning—and I tailor feedback in Afrikaans or English to suit you. People navigating transitions or parenting adolescents often find this practical, short-term focus helpful.

Basic Information

Services

I offer short-term individual counselling for adults and adolescents. I do supportive counselling, psychological education and mental health interventions. I believe your emotional and mental well-being is just as important as your physical being. Being vulnerable and opening up can be distressing which is why I offer a warm, non-judgmental and safe space for you to just be yourself.

I know reaching out to a counsellor takes a lot of strength. I encourage you to do so. You are more than welcome to contact me.
