About Me

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist, trained in Portugal and Sweden, with over a decade of experience working with people who are smart, self-aware, and quietly stuck. My clients are often in the middle of something: a career pivot, a relocation, a relationship at a crossroads, a life that looks good from the outside but feels hollow from within. They don't need to be taught how to think. They need space to think more clearly, and someone who can help them see what they're avoiding. I work with CBT and narrative therapy as my core frameworks, drawing on cognitive neuroscience and mindfulness where they're useful.

Approach

Therapy with me tends to be structured but not rigid. We look at patterns in your thinking, your stories, your decisions, and we work with them directly. I ask precise questions. I won't let you stay comfortable in circles. Most of my clients are high-functioning people in genuine transition: a big decision unmade, an identity that no longer fits, a life being quietly rebuilt. The work suits people who want depth and momentum, not just support.

Basic Information

Services

I specialise in working with adults navigating major life transitions, career reinvention, relocation, identity shifts, and the particular disorientation of a life that no longer fits. My core areas of work include: High-functioning anxiety - the kind that doesn't stop you performing, but exhausts you underneath. Life transitions and reinvention - career pivots, cross-cultural moves, redefining who you are after a major change. Identity and meaning - when success arrives but satisfaction doesn't, or when you're not sure who you are outside of what you do. Decision-making and psychological stuckness - for people who think clearly about everything except what matters most to them. Expat and cross-cultural psychology - the specific pressures of building a life across cultures, languages, and belonging systems. Relationship dynamics - patterns in how you connect, attach, and sometimes self-sabotage.
