When experiencing significant life changes, living as a survivor, or processing the impact of the past, it can feel impossible to be your true self...together we will find your voice and build a sense of empowerment.

About Me

Clients come to me looking for someone who isn’t cold and clinical, but instead creates a space where they feel safe opening up about some of the most raw parts of their lives. I will help you break down the negative thought patterns that are holding you back, build healthy coping skills, and finally create a sense of balance in your life. I specialize in helping clients build confidence and self-worth while addressing the deeper struggles that feed perfectionism, shame, and self-doubt. In our work together, we’ll dig into the roots of these self-critical patterns—early experiences, societal pressures, painful relationships, or unresolved trauma—and begin rewriting the script. With me, you will be met with compassion, understanding, and respect. As a therapist specializing in trauma, anxiety, and EMDR, I have the expertise you need to get on the road to the relief, peace, and fulfillment you deserve. Having begun my career as a rape crisis advocate, I have worked with and learned from survivors of trauma for many years. This experience has allowed me to create multiple protocols for treating trauma, anxiety and their after-effects, including PTSD, depression, physical pain, negative self worth and addiction. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Addictions-Informed Professional, I am active in the field and frequently attend workshops and seminars to maintain my familiarity with cutting-edge techniques. I believe we are never done learning, and I am invested in my continual growth as a therapist. I strongly believe in inclusivity and work hard to make my practice a safe place for everyone. With me you will find a safe sounding board to process and explore any areas of need. Together we will create a treatment plan tailored specifically for you, in order to help you navigate and manage current challenges and stressors.

Approach

Our work together will always begin with getting to know you and establishing your goals for therapy: they will guide everything we do. From there, we will identify, navigate, and confront the emotions and challenges you are experiencing. Whether you’re finding yourself more angry than you’ve ever been, overwhelmed by panic and anxiety, or constantly worried about the future, we’ll break these things down in order to understand not just how to change them, but why they’re happening in the first place. This gives you the insight you need to truly heal. From there, we’ll work on practical skill-building so that you are armed with the tools you need to conquer the future with peace, clarity, and confidence. In addition to the emotions that you are feeling, I know you may also carry the burdens of very real experiences that are impacting your life. As an EMDR-trained anxiety and trauma therapist, I can help you reprocess these memories in a constructive and healthy way.
