Perhaps you've tried therapy in the past and while it might have been helpful, it did not really enable you to get 'unstuck' or to fully resolve past pain which is often held at a deeper level of body and mind. A single incident trauma as well as tough childhood experiences can often be held so deep within us they are impossible to shift with our rational mind. EMDR can enable us to get 'unstuck' not only from traumatic memories but also from negative beliefs, phobias and even addictive behaviors. I was trained and licensed in California as an MFT and mostly use attachment-focused EMDR in addition to traditional therapy as it tends to make the most beneficial impact for my clients. My training further includes psychedelic preparation and integration work.
