Mr Aleksandr Miskelovic

Psychologist

I am Aleksandr – a NIP-registered psychologist, Schema Therapist and accredited mindfulness trainer. I offer therapy and mindfulness sessions in English, Russian, and Lithuanian – one-to-one and online. Not sure if it could be useful for you? Let’s arrange a free 20-minute call and discuss the possibilities.

About Me

I am a psychologist based in Centrum, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. I offer counseling and schema therapy for people dealing with abuse, anxiety, mood disorders, and stress or burnout. I help you set clear goals and build concrete coping skills.

Approach

You’ll notice sessions move at a steady, practical pace: we clarify a current problem, try a focused exercise in the room, and set small, doable steps to practise between meetings. I work with English, Russian and Lithuanian speakers, meeting in Rotterdam or via secure video, whichever fits your life. Expect a blend of short experiments, attention training and careful reflection aimed at shifting unhelpful patterns and easing overwhelm. This way of working often suits people recovering from abuse, chronic anxiety or burnout who want clear, collaborative progress.

Basic Information

Services

Individual therapy (Rotterdam and Online)

I am an English, Russian and Lithuanian-speaking psychologist. My clients come from all over the Netherlands and beyond. I mostly work with expats — adults — guiding and supporting them in working through whatever difficulties they are currently facing. These might include feelings of loneliness, anxiety, fear, depression, low self-esteem and more. Together we look at what is happening now, work to understand why it is happening, and decide how we can make it better.

Couple therapy (Rotterdam and Online)

Relationships can be difficult. Despite our best efforts, we can get stuck in cycles of painful communication. Often these patterns have roots in our families of origin, trauma history, past relationships, and unresolved conflicts in the current relationship. Recognizing these patterns and understanding how to stop them can improve the relationships dramatically.

I am a relationship therapist trained in Schema Therapy for Couples. Using this method, we will be focusing on recent conflicts (sometimes called “clashes”) that you experience. Together with other tools, we will be working on improving your communication and sense of connection.
