Albana

Albana (Miho) Antone, MA

Licensed Professional Counselor

I provide online therapy throughout Idaho for adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and overwhelming stress. I specialize in trauma-focused care and am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an approach designed to help reduce the distress associated with difficult or traumatic experiences. As a clinician with lived experience, I also have a unique understanding of the challenges faced by veterans, military families, law enforcement, and first responders. I help clients understand patterns shaped by trauma, stress, and difficult environments. Alongside ART, I use CBT, trauma‑informed care, Prolonged Exposure, person‑centered therapy, and strength‑based approaches. I also have training in Early Serious Mental Illness (OnTrackNY), supporting clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, you’re not alone. Reaching out can feel difficult, especially when life has been heavy for a long time. I offer a calm, steady space to sort through what’s weighing on you and move at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner in Idaho. I started my career in the mental and behavioral health services since graduating from my undergraduate studies in 2004. I work with individuals experiencing trauma, stress, grief, and life transitions, among the few. I also work with Albanian speaking adults. My approach integrates scientific understanding with practical strategies from ART, CBT, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and strengths-based approaches, respecting your privacy and building a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. I help clients navigate challenges by focusing on their strengths and fostering resilience.

Approach

My approach is eclectic and trauma‑informed, integrating Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy, and Strength‑Based interventions (among the few) to provide individualized, culturally responsive support. In our first session, we explore what you're facing and what you want from therapy. We decide together on a plan that feels meaningful and manageable.
