Registered Social Worker

Anxiety/Panic/Overwhelmed/Chronic Stress/Ruminating Thoughts: these experiences can make you feel helpless and alone. I am passionate about helping people understand how anxiety/mood issues operate and how to begin to heal.

About Me

When anxiety, panic, or chronic stress feel overwhelming, it's easy to feel helpless and alone. I am passionate about helping you unravel how these experiences operate. In our sessions, we explore patterns and develop practical strategies. My aim is for you to gain understanding and begin to heal, finding a calmer way forward.

Approach

Healing often begins with slowing the urgent thoughts so you can notice patterns and choose a different response. In my Newmarket office or online across Ontario, sessions move at a steady, practical pace—brief check-ins, focused skill practice, and space to reflect. I guide acceptance-focused exercises and gentle experiments to shift automatic reactions, and we set small between-session steps you can try and bring back to the next meeting. This way of working fits people who want clear, manageable tools to reduce panic, tame rumination, and regain choice.
