About Me
Approach
“A therapy session is a no-judgement zone, a channel for you to express your inner turmoil and it allows you to recognise your feelings and thoughts. Being vulnerable and honest with yourself is the start of your self-discovering journey.”
It is the desire to help yourself that would allow you to reap the best possible outcome from therapy. Change starts from taking the first step, the smallest step forward from your current position. Reaching out and seeking therapy, it is a milestone that deserves applause.
In a therapy session, you are the narrator of your life, in control of your stories and the way you would like to share them. The hiccups, the writer’s block you have faced in life, and the uncertainty of deciding are a part of living. I am here, to assist you, in guiding and in the hope that you can view a clearer picture of the life you would like to embark on.
A counsellor is not an all-knowing saint or exempted from mistakes. As a teenager, I struggled with my own insecurities and punished myself for these flaws. In that instance, I attended counselling sessions which allows me to appreciate the menial, little things and to slowly accept the imperfection we are made of. Our lives were never destined to be smooth sailing, sometimes we need an anchor and at times we would have to learn to adjust the sails, which is learning to accept the person we are, and it takes effort and time. With this opportunity given to me, I would like to reach out my hand in companionship – so take my hand and let’s embark on a journey of learning from each other so we can steer well.
