Helena Hendrina (Adéle)

Mrs Helena Hendrina (Adéle) Jacobs

Social Worker (Mental Health)

My aim is to equip people through Solution Focus Counseling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Pastoral and life coaching to: manage life crises, develop mindful resilience and self-care and become overcomers living abundantly.

About Me

I am a Social Worker (Mental Health) in Protea Ridge, Gauteng, South Africa. I am registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP). I help you navigate life transitions, anger, conduct problems, grief, trauma and divorce through counselling, relationship work, adoption support and coaching.

Approach

You’ll find practical, hope-oriented sessions that focus on small, steady changes to your thinking and daily habits so life feels more manageable. In Krugersdorp I offer in-person and online appointments in Afrikaans and English, keeping sessions calm, paced and respectful of your rhythms. We work together on clear steps, short experiments between meetings and communication work when relationships are involved, using both gentle pastoral reflection and evidence-informed tools. This approach suits adults, couples and families seeking steady, compassionate progress.
