Miss Aditi Balasubramanian

Counseling Psychologist

I specialise in Trauma-informed Individual Therapy for Adults (18+ years), taking an eclectic approach integrating cognitive behavioural (ACT, CBT) and experiential-process oriented (IFS) therapies. I strive to empower individuals by meeting them at their pace, and facilitate change and growth.

About Me

I help adults make sense of and move through the lingering impact of trauma. We work together, meeting you at your own pace to explore experiences and build resilience. My approach is eclectic, blending practical cognitive behavioural tools with deeper experiential methods like Parts work. This combination helps you understand your inner landscape and find new ways to foster lasting change. I aim to empower you on your path to growth.

Approach

To translate insight into steady change, I guide work through small, intentional steps that honour your timing and build tolerance for difficult emotions. In sessions from my New Delhi practice or online, in English, Hindi or Tamil, we balance short, practical skill practice with gentle experiential noticing of inner parts so you leave with something usable and less overwhelmed. Between meetings I offer brief exercises to practice skills and track what shifts. This approach tends to suit adults seeking practical tools alongside deeper self-understanding.
