About Me
Approach
I’m Dr. P. A. Brown, I am a licensed California psychologist and a candidate psychoanalyst of the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis. My practice is based in Crescent City and I am here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters as you articulate yourself in the world. As one of the only psychoanalysts in the area, I offer psychotherapy once or twice a week, psychoanalysis on the couch at an increased frequency; even by phone or online by video.
Since 2007, I have provided a number of specialized mental health services to patients from many walks of life and in many settings from hospitals and community clinics to group practices. Your work in treatment is my number one priority, and I go above and beyond to help you through your obstacles.
