Therapedia Centre is a group practice consisting of mental health providers, who are trained in helping children, teens, adults and families in their personal, relational and professional journey.

How can psychotherapists help?
Evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to age and goals—talk therapy, creative/expressive approaches, and practical skills (emotion regulation, problem-solving, sleep and routine building, parenting strategies, conflict navigation, and relapse-prevention plans).

We specialize in supporting immigrants and refugees, offering trauma-informed, identity-aware care from a diverse team. Services are available in English, Portuguese, Farsi, Arabic, and Mandarin, with attention to culture, language, and settlement stressors.
For children & teens:
Emotion regulation, anxiety and mood support, school and peer challenges, ADHD-friendly strategies, parent coaching, and collaboration with schools when appropriate.
For adults:
Anxiety and stress, trauma recovery, life transitions, relationship and workplace concerns, self-esteem, and skills for balance and wellbeing.
Individual therapy (with parent involvement for youth when helpful), family sessions, and select groups. In-person at our Yorkville, East York ( Pape/Danforth) and North York (Sheppard/Yonge) locations and virtual across Ontario.

Our psychotherapists at Therapedia Centre offer a wide range of approaches in mental health. From art therapy training in psychotherapy to Gestalt, our psychotherapists are trained in helping with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, professional issues (performance anxiety at work, task-management, low self-esteem, low self-confidence), PTSD and trauma related issues, Eating Disorders, ADHD symptom management, and childhood-related mental health issues.
At Therapedia Centre, we have psychotherapists who practice in Arabic, Farsi, Portuguese, Mandarine in addition to English.
We offer services to children, teenagers, adults and seniors. Each psychotherapist is trained and experienced in offering mental health services to a certain demographics.

We offer services to First Nations children, who have had a history of trauma, have witnessed domestic abuse or have ADHD, sadness and depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and panic disorders.
We also offer services to children of refugee families who are facing issues at school, either behavioural or emotional, or at home. We also help them explore and express their thoughts and feelings about the challenges of the new life.
Our psychotherapists are trained in working with youth and adults and use a variety of approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment theories, Solution-Focused therapy, art therapy and Gestalt in their practice.
