About Me
Approach
Lindsey Robinson works as a psychodynamic psychotherapist/counsellor.
Psychodynamic therapies are based on an individual's unconscious thoughts and perceptions that have developed throughout childhood, it looks at how these affect a person's current behaviour and thoughts.
Are you struggling with some aspects of your life? Do you have issues with anxiety or depression or relationships for instance? Are you looking for a warm, experienced, well-trained professional psychotherapist/counsellor to help you understand and work through your difficulties? I can offer a safe space to help you talk through, understand and make the changes you want to see to lead a more fulfilling life.
In addition to my private practice, I am an experienced NHS honorary psychotherapist, working as part of a Community Mental Health team. I am well trained as both a psychotherapist and psychodynamic counsellor and have a number of years of experience helping people with their difficulties. My previous qualification was from The Tavistock and Portman Clinic in London and I am undertaking further development and training there. I have worked for a number of years at The Counselling Foundation and as a school counsellor at The Samual Whitbread Academy.
