About Me

As a Registered Social Worker, I bring experience from school environments to support children aged 4 to 18. My focus is nurturing emotional intelligence. I guide children to understand their feelings and develop practical ways to express them. We also explore how to build resilience and navigate school life challenges. Parents appreciate my grounded approach, which creates a calm space where young people can grow confidently.

Approach

In sessions I help children and adolescents put feelings into words and small, manageable steps so they leave with something to try. We meet in a calm Cape Town space where conversation, play and simple tools are mixed at a pace that suits each young person, and I check in with parents when helpful. Between meetings I suggest short activities to practice new skills at home and school, keeping progress visible and achievable. This way tends to suit families seeking steady, practical emotional growth.
