Mrs Anja Pollard

Music Therapist

I support clients in their journeys of becoming resilient and fulfilled human beings by using different methods rooted in arts. It's therapy, but different!

About Me

I support your journey towards resilience and fulfilment by inviting you to engage with feelings through music and creative arts. If traditional talk therapy hasn't felt right, this approach offers a fresh way to understand yourself. We might use sounds, rhythm, or playful expression to make sense of challenges. This can be particularly helpful if words feel hard to find. It guides you towards inner strength in an active, different way.

Approach

You might find sessions feel like a creative lab, moving through rhythm, imagery and small embodied experiments to uncover feelings that usually hide. In Pretoria or online, in Afrikaans or English, pace is set by you and I check in often so the work stays manageable. Expect short musical prompts, reflective talk and simple between-session exercises—recordings, drawings or dream notes—to help track shifts over time. This approach suits people who need more than words to heal and grow.
