It usually reflects a desire for change or a wish to know yourself better—whether to rediscover passion and satisfaction or to cope more effectively with difficult life situations. Psychotherapy can foster change by helping you develop a new way of listening to yourself, especially when you are overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, loneliness, loss, or relationship difficulties. It is not necessarily a long process, yet its effects can be very tangible. My approach involves keeping each person’s singularity in mind and striving to listen to their unique voice.
