Find Depression Counsellors in New York, the United States

My clients are Black and queer high achievers who feel like imposters despite real accomplishments. We work on the inner voice that says you are not qualified, the pressure of being the only one in the room, and the cost of holding it together for everyone else. Strengths-based, solution-focused, identity-affirming.

I provide depth-oriented therapy for thoughtful, creative people navigating transition, identity, and questions of meaning. You may be moving through a major transition, questioning a relationship or direction in life, feeling disconnected from yourself, or simply sensing you want something more meaningful. Your inner world contains the answers, but together we can parse through the details of your history, thoughts, and actions to identify where your psyche is leading. For some this may be a place for containing what you're already pretty good at mining in yourself, and for others we will be more directly in the tunnels together. My clinical orientation integrates Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Jungian frameworks. I bring to my work a deep appreciation for world travel, yoga, creativity, the arts, design, motherhood, divination practices, and the natural world. These aspects of my life inform and inspire my practice.
