The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change. - Carl Rogers

About Me

Life is hard, and the world is rough. Navigating life’s transitions can be complex, and seeking support is a sign of strength. I offer a complete space of acceptance for Queer (LGBTQIA+) individuals with more intersectional identities. My goal is for you to feel safe exploring identity-related distress and more. It's a place where your authentic self is truly welcome and celebrated.

Approach

I focus on body-based and somatic work through the lens of Internal Family Systems (parts work). This means we explore the different sides of you: the protective, the tender, the tired, the hopeful, and learn how they interact with each other. Our identities live in our bodies, and our parts often hold pieces of our history, culture, and trauma. By understanding them, we start to see how they impact the way we talk to ourselves, relate to others and show up in the world. In our sessions, we might laugh, sit in silence, get curious or feel something deeply together. The goal isn’t to "fix" but help you feel more at home in yourself and in your body. Contact me by email or phone if this feels right!

Basic Information

Services

Hi, I'm Vidushi. I'm a queer, neurodivergent and South Asian therapist in Downtown Vancouver. My work comes from a personal understanding of what it’s like to live with intersecting identities and how they shape the way we experience love, belonging, and safety. Many of us have inherited stories and survival strategies that once kept us safe but now hold us back. Therapy, to me, is a place where we get to pause, make meaning out of those patterns, and slowly learn new ways of being that feel more authentic to who we are.
