Counseling Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

Since opening my private practice in 2012, I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible clients from all walks of life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative and grounded in evidence-based methods. I aim to provide a space where you can feel safe, understood and empowered to grow. I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and remain actively involved in research and academic work. I’ve published internationally and presented my research on gender dynamics at conferences in South Africa, Japan, the UK and the Czech Republic.

About Me

Ever since I can remember I’ve been interested in people, their stories, their struggles and the resilience they show in trying to live more authentic and fulfilling lives. I feel deeply privileged to walk alongside individuals and couples as they heal, grow and (re)connect. I acknowledge the courage it takes for people to reach out and start therapy. Therapy is not always easy, but it can be so rewarding. I aim to offer a supportive and non-judgmental space to help you navigate the challenges you are facing. I provide sessions online, which makes therapy accessible, flexible and private, especially for individuals and couples who lead busy lives.

Approach

I primarily work from a psychodynamic approach, helping clients explore the deeper roots of their struggles to create lasting, transformative change. With couples, I draw on the Gottman Method to support communication, conflict management and emotional connection. I believe healthy relationships are built through intention, empathy and practical tools.
