If you've ever felt stuck, weighed down by anxiety, depression, or patterns you can't seem to break, you're in the right place. If you're ready to do meaningful work and move forward, I'd love to walk that path with you.

About Me

I hold a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and a Doctorate in Medical Hypnoanalysis, with an Advanced Diploma in Medical Hypnoanalysis and Ego-state Therapy. My training has taken me from South Africa to the Ohio Institute of Medical Hypnoanalysis in Akron, USA, and I continue to attend workshops and congresses to stay current in my field. I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and bound by their code of ethics. With over 30 years of experience as both a psychologist and hypnotherapist, I bring depth of knowledge and genuine warmth to every session. My practice in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, is a space where students and adults can feel safe to explore what's really going on beneath the surface, and begin to shift it.

Approach

I specialise in Medical Hypnoanalysis, a powerful method that goes beyond managing symptoms to uncovering the root causes of depression, anxiety and other emotional issues. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I draw on a wide range of approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, gestalt therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and ego-state therapy, to tailor every therapeutic journey to the individual sitting in front of me. I am direct, solution-focused, and deeply committed to helping you build on your own strengths. Therapy with me is interactive and practical; we work together.

Services

Anxiety & Depression Rather than simply managing symptoms, I work to uncover the underlying causes — helping you understand why you feel the way you do and how to move toward lasting relief. Eating Disorders Rarely just about food, eating disorders are deeply connected to emotions and self-worth. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore these connections and rebuild a healthier relationship with yourself. Phobias Using hypnoanalysis and other proven techniques, we get to the root of the fear — often more quickly than traditional talk therapy alone. Understanding Behaviour Patterns Repeating patterns you don't fully understand? Together we explore where they come from and how to change them in a meaningful, lasting way.
