About Me

I am a Psychotherapist with over 9 years of experience working with adults who feel emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand or have the energy to change. In our work together, rather than seeing these experiences as problems to be fixed or personal flaws, we understand them as ways the mind and body learned to cope with difficult experiences in your life. As we being to understand what’s been happening, people often feel a sense of relief, like something finally clicks, instead of feeling broken or at fault. Therapy then becomes a space where things feel less intense, and you begin to feel clearer, more grounded and at ease with yourself, gradually building the capacity to carry what once felt overwhelming and move toward the changes you are seeking.

Approach

My approach is centred on listening deeply to whatever you bring into the room, without judgement or pressure. This may include feeling anxious, on edge, or emotionally overloaded; shutting down, feeling numb, or struggling to rest or slow down; being very hard on yourselves or feeling not good enough; getting stuck in repeating patterns in relationships; feeling confused, lost, or at a turning point in life or work; and carrying the impact of past experiences into your present life. Together, we make sense of why things feel the way they do and what may be keeping you feeling stuck or confused, even when you want things to be different. As this understanding builds, our work shifts toward helping you respond to your experiences differently rather than through self-blame, and identifying small, manageable changes that feel possible in everyday life. These changes are explored at a pace that feels realistic and supportive, so what we explore in therapy can gradually be carried into life outside the sessions.
