Srishti

Srishti Tayal, MSc

Psychologist

I offer a relational and exploratory space for adults to better understand their emotions, relationships, and experiences. Rather than focusing only on labels, I aim to collaboratively explore how distress is shaped by one’s personal history, relationships, and lived experience.

About Me

I’m Srishti (she/her), a therapist who identifies as a Hindu (Vaishya), middle-class, and neurodivergent individual, and I believe these parts of my social location inevitably shape how I understand people, relationships, distress, and the world around me. Alongside my professional training, my understanding of therapy has also been deeply informed by being in personal therapy myself since 2021, beginning with individual therapy and later engaging in group therapy since 2024. These experiences have made me value therapy as a collaborative, relational, and deeply human process rather than a purely clinical one. In addition to my therapy practice, I also facilitate an art-based community space called CathARTic, where people engage with their inner experiences through art, reflection, and dialogue. I feel language plays an important part in how we think and make meaning of the world around us. I think in both Hindi and English, and therefore in my speech, I use both Hindi and English, commonly known as Hinglish.

Approach

I work from a relational and psychodynamic approach, which means I’m interested in understanding your emotions and struggles within the context of your relationships, past experiences, and inner world. I aim to offer a collaborative space where we can explore these patterns together and make sense of what feels difficult or overwhelming.
