Sohal

Mrs Sohal Parsa, M.Sc.

Registered Psychotherapist

Verified

As a state-licensed psychotherapist (Approbation, Germany) with a background in neuropsychology, I offer a reflective therapeutic space to understand how recurring patterns, unconscious dynamics, and unmet needs shape emotional experience and relationships. Creating this understanding can open new ways of relating - both to yourself and to those around you.

About Me

I studied Msc Neuropsychology in the Netherlands and trained as a licensed psychotherapist (Psychologische Psychotherapeutin, Approbation) in Germany. I bring together an understanding of the brain, body, and emotion helping you find clarity and steadiness in difficult times. I currently offer remote online psychotherapy and in-person therapy sessions in Funchal, Madeira, in English and German.

Approach

Depending on your needs, I can integrate elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness-Based Methods, all grounded in behavioural psychotherapy. I have supported clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, emotional regulation, and relationship difficulties, among others. No experience is too small or too complex to bring into therapy.
