Approach

My approach is rooted in person-centred values: empathy, unconditional positive regard and the belief that clients are the experts in their own experience. I also draw on psychodynamic ideas — particularly how early relationships and unconscious patterns can shape our ways of being in the present.

More about my Practice

  • I see therapy as a deeply human, relational process. My path into this work began with my own experience in therapy — discovering how transformative it can be to feel seen, heard, and accepted just as you are.
  • In our sessions, I offer a safe, grounded space to slow down, explore what you’re carrying, and gently make room for what hasn’t yet had space — both in here-and-now, while also making room — when you're ready — to look at what has shaped your story over time.
  • I’m especially attuned to the subtle, edge-of-awareness moments — the felt sense — where deep insight and lasting transformation can begin to emerge.

What should you expect?

  • Our work isn’t about fixing or diagnosing. It’s about curiosity, connection, and care. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I offer a steady presence, attuned listening, and thoughtful reflection — inviting you to make sense of your experiences at your own pace.
  • No two clients are the same. My work is shaped by what you bring, and guided by my attention, training, and a commitment to supporting your agency — uncovering new ways of living and relating.
  • I offer both short and long-term therapy, depending on what feels right for you. You are free to end whenever you feel ready, but I believe endings are important.
  • When possible, I like to mark this transition with an agreed ending that we work towards together – so we can reflect and give our work together a sense of closure.

Our First Session

If you’d like to meet, I’ll send over a short working agreement with some practical information. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other a little – for you to ask any questions, share what’s brought you here, and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to continue afterwards; It’s really about seeing if it feels like the right fit for you.

If you’d like to book your first session or set up a consultation call, you can -

I will reach out to you shortly after to schedule a short consultation call. This is a chance for us to get to know each other better, and for you to share any questions/concerns you may have. It also gives us the opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy at this time, and for me to share a working agreement with some practical information.

About Me

  • My path into therapy has been shaped by a natural curiosity about human behaviour and emotion. I spent five years immersed in the study of Psychology and Counselling, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University, followed by an MSc in Counselling Studies from the University of Edinburgh. This academic foundation, combined with meaningful experience in therapeutic settings, has shaped my approach to working with clients in thoughtful and responsive ways.
  • Before training as a therapist, I worked in marketing, where I was drawn to how people think, feel, and connect. Over time, this interest deepened, moving beyond observation to creating space for individuals to share and explore their experiences.
  • Outside of my work, I find inspiration and joy in music and football, both of which reflect the layered, dynamic, and evolving nature of human experience.
