Smriti Kamath

Counselor

I am a Counselling Psychologist and the Co-founder of Pause and Breathe Pvt., where we believe that therapy is not a last resort, but the first step. My goal in session is going to help you find and become the best version of yourself. If there's part of you that wants to change, therapy is the space for you, and it would be my honor to help you make the shift in life that you need.

About Me

I am a Person-centered Psychologist (MSc) with a specialized focus on Relational, Trauma-informed, and Queer-affirmative care. My journey in mental health has evolved from intensive clinical and counselling internships at institutions like Manipal Hospital and LTMGH to co-founding Pause and Breathe Pvt. Ltd..

Approach

My approach in therapy is person-centered, trauma-informed, holistic and relational. Beyond that, I use an eclectic approach based on the clients needs and where they are in their journey. Additionally, I am trained in queer-affirmative therapy, arts-based therapy, and geriatric counselling (counselling for the elderly).
