About Me

Hello! I am Shaira Eve Villamora Goc-ong, a licensed psychologist and psychometrician specializing in clinical psychology. My therapeutic expertise includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Reality Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In my clinical practice, I am committed to providing comprehensive psychological assessments and customized interventions for individuals dealing with ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders. When I'm off the clock, I love spending time with my dogs, cooking for my family, binge-watching teleseryes, and hitting the road for some adventure.

Approach

Grounded in evidence-based practice, compassion, and collaboration, my work focuses on creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore concerns at a pace that feels manageable. Therapy is practical and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on building insight, emotional regulation, and skills that can be applied in everyday life. I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. Sessions may include guided reflection, skill practice, and simple between-session exercises tailored to individual needs. I work with adolescents, adults, and the elderly navigating emotional sensitivity, anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
