Scotland’s Domestic Abuse & Forced Marriage Helpline

Scotland’s Domestic Abuse & Forced Marriage Helpline

Scotland's Domestic Abuse & Forced Marriage Helpline is a 24-hour service offering confidential, initial support and information to anyone in Scotland experiencing domestic abuse (by a partner or ex-partner) or forced marriage. We cannot offer a call back to anyone who has not got in touch with us themselves.

About Us

We are a Glasgow-based mental health organisation serving people across Scotland. Our clinicians deliver crisis counseling and short-term therapy in Glasgow clinics and online.

Approach

From our bases in Glasgow and through secure online appointments we prioritise immediate, practical support while making careful space for your choices and pace. Sessions are short-term and focused: we listen, clarify safety and options, co-create small, manageable steps and use straightforward tools you can try between meetings. Between sessions we signpost trusted resources and help you plan what matters next, without pressure. People looking for clear, practical support in times of crisis often find this way of working helpful.
