“Psychotherapist - Olim- Mindful eating”
About Me
Many Olim face unique challenges adjusting to a new culture, often impacting their relationship with food. I help new immigrants cultivate a balanced and healthy connection to eating. Through mindful eating practices, we explore patterns and reduce stress around meals. This fosters a sense of calm and offers practical tools for daily life, helping you navigate transitions with greater ease and self-compassion.
Approach
Working with Olim, I focus on slowing the pace around meals so you can notice body cues, thoughts and the wider stresses of relocation. In my Tel Aviv office or via secure online sessions in English, French or Spanish, we use short, practical mindfulness exercises during meetings and simple between-session practices you can try at home. Sessions are collaborative and grounded: we map patterns, test small changes and track mood and anxiety shifts together. This approach suits adolescents and adults navigating cultural transitions who want steady, usable tools.
