About Me

I am an integrative psychotherapist and art therapist, offering a safe and contained space for the exploration of emotional and psychological concerns. My work supports a process of inquiry into what may be causing distress, with the intention of restoring balance and fostering a deeper sense of well being. The focus may be on a particular issue, or it may unfold more holistically, allowing for the discovery of hidden potential and alignment with a more fulfilling experience of life. My clinical experience includes working with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, life transitions, loneliness, low self-esteem, loss of meaning and purpose, and relationship concerns. At the heart of my practice is the belief that each individual holds an innate capacity for healing and transformation. My role is to support the re-establishment of connection with one's own inner guidance, fostering a deeper trust in the wisdom that resides within. My orientation is relational and intuitive, grounded in presence, attunement, and respect for the unfolding of each person’s unique process.

Approach

I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to respond to the unique needs of each client. My approach weaves together psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, gestalt, and transpersonal perspectives, with a particular emphasis on the Analytic Psychology of C.G. Jung. I am also inspired and trained in The Work of Byron Katie—a self-inquiry method that supports the investigation of limiting beliefs and thought patterns. This approach fosters a clearer, more authentic perception of the self, others, and the world. As an art therapist, I have experience facilitating the access to inner dimensions through artistic mediators such as drawing, painting, collage, creative writing and sand tray. Creative imagination may be integrated into the therapeutic process, facilitating self-expression and insight. Dreams and visualisations can also integrate the work as they often hold important messages and guidance. Before training as a psychotherapist, I studied History of Art. My Master’s investigation was dedicated to forms of art considered “outsider”, contributing to deepen my interest in the psyche’s creative nature.
