Ms Sara Butler

Licensed Clinical Social Workers

I am an EMDR & Psychodrama trained Therapist specializing in women's mental health, chronic illness, and anxiety.

About Me

I support women navigating the unique challenges of chronic illness and persistent anxiety. My aim is to help you explore difficult feelings and find new ways to respond. Through EMDR, we can gently process past experiences that might be fuelling your current struggles. I offer a compassionate, grounded space for building resilience and finding greater ease in daily life.

Approach

Work with me moves between careful, paced processing and embodied role exploration to uncover how past moments show up in day-to-day life. In my Red Bank office, sessions are held in English and feel grounded and measured — we pay attention to your body, breath, and stories while keeping practical steps between visits. You'll find sessions alternate gentle targeting of memories with experiment‑based role work that lets you try new responses safely. This way of working often suits women juggling chronic illness and persistent anxiety.
