Sam Kosierb

Registered Psychotherapist

I have a passion for working with adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression and LGBTQIA+ questions and concerns.

About Me

I deeply value supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, and LGBTQIA+ questions. I create a space where you can explore your concerns openly. Together, we can work to understand your feelings and find clarity. My aim is for you to feel heard and understood, fostering growth at your own pace. We can develop strategies for a more fulfilling life.

Approach

I help you explore the stories behind anxiety, low mood and questions about identity, gently tracing how past experiences shape day-to-day reactions. In sessions from my Kemptville office or online across Ontario, pacing is deliberate: we slow down to notice patterns, name feelings, and link them to choices you make. Sessions are collaborative and reflective, drawing on psychodynamic curiosity while keeping practical steps between meetings to trial new ways of relating. This approach often suits adolescents and adults seeking greater clarity and steadier self-trust.
