Approach

With a trauma-informed lens, we cultivate a safe and empowering atmosphere for their clients. We diligently incorporate their personal, cultural, and social context into the therapy process, offering choices and nurturing a sense of security throughout their journey of healing.

We facilitate clients in unraveling their life experiences, repetitive patterns, core beliefs, and unexpressed needs through a blend of somatic practice and exploration of childhood memories through Inner Child work.

Do I need help?

Every human being experiences emotional distress. We may isolate ourselves, loose interest in our passion, getting out of bed may look like a gigantic task or stay stuck in relationships or situations that don’t benefit us.

For some of us surrounding ourselves with our families and friends may help, for some spirituality, for many exercising.

However, for some of us the emotional pain engulfs us. The cruelest feeling is that of hopelessness – one of the biggest symptoms of depression. We have visible symptoms when we are physically unwell and there are tests that can help us, whereas there are no tangible symptoms when it comes to mental or emotional distress. We often lose out on a lot of time trying to distinguish between mental health concern or just us not “feeling like ourselves”

Just like when a fever doesn’t go away and we see a doctor, or when a toothache gets bad and we visit the dentist, taking care of your mental health is important too. Booking just one session with a psychologist can give you a clearer understanding of what’s going on. You don’t have to have all the answers right away, and that’s perfectly okay.

From my experience, getting a diagnosis often brings a sense of relief—helping people realize that what they’re dealing with is a condition that can be treated, not just a part of who they are.

Few symptoms that indicate booking a session with a Psychotherapist is important are

- Isolation or withdrawal

- Constant fatigue

- Low mood or aggression. Constant mood swings

- Sudden changes in sleep patterns and appetite

- Intense fears or worries

- Risk taking behaviors or thoughts of harming self

"Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. If you're feeling overwhelmed or need someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to reach out. Support is here whenever you need it."

Healing!

Healing is a journey that’s truly available to everyone, though it’s different for each of us. Let’s talk first about what healing isn’t.

Healing isn’t about pushing down your wants, desires, or expectations.

It’s not about constantly searching for a silver lining.

Healing isn’t taking up less space.

So, what is healing?

Healing is about showing up for yourself — being there for yourself just as you would for a friend.

It’s about saying “yes” to people and experiences that bring you energy and joy, and learning to say “no” to things that drain you.

Healing doesn’t mean you won’t feel guilty when you set boundaries with others; it’s natural to feel that way. But you do it anyway because you know it’s what you need.

Healing doesn’t mean erasing the hurt; it’s about making space for it

Self Talk!

The words we speak to ourselves hold incredible power. They shape how we see ourselves, how we process pain, and how we approach healing. Self-talk isn’t just background noise; it’s the narrative that frames our experience of the world.

When we’re hurt — emotionally or physically — our inner dialogue often turns harsh. Thoughts like, “Why can’t I get it together?” or “I’ll never get through this” can deepen the wounds we’re trying to heal. But what if we treated ourselves with the same compassion we offer others?

Imagine a dear friend sharing their struggles. You wouldn’t tell them they’re failing or hopeless. You’d likely say, “You’re doing your best,” or, “I’m here for you.” Why not extend that same grace inward? Healing begins when we replace criticism with kindness, even if it feels unfamiliar at first.

Shifting our self-talk doesn’t mean ignoring pain — it means acknowledging it with care. Words like “I’m trying,” or “I deserve patience” can become anchors of hope.

Healing is a journey of rebuilding, and the language we use with ourselves can either nurture or hinder that process. Speak kindly to yourself — you are listening, and your words have the power to heal.
