Counseling Psychologist

As a child psychologist, my goal is to foster the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children and support them in overcoming any challenges they may face. I am passionate about helping children navigate through their unique experiences and providing them with the necessary tools and strategies to thrive.

About Me

I am a Counseling Psychologist based in Lavington, Central Kenya. I provide individual therapy, CBT, psychological assessment and advocacy for people facing abuse, addiction, mood disorders and psychosis. I help you build practical coping skills and safer routines in a direct, respectful way.

Approach

I use Eclectic approach which implies I use various theoretical approaches in helping my clients depending on individual challenges. Eclectic allows me to use the most effective methods available to address each individual clients needs rather than a one size fits all approach to therapy.

As a professional, I carefully create an intentional, individual plan for each client based on that person's unique needs. Some of the theoretical approaches that I draw on include :

Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
