Mr Richard Rapoport

Registered Psychotherapist

After 35 years of doing anything, you better be very good at it. It feels as if I am working at the top of my game - at least on a good day.

About Me

With 35 years as a Registered Psychotherapist, I offer a consistently high level of care. My extensive experience provides a calm, focused space where you can truly explore your challenges. Clients often find my seasoned approach helps them gain clarity and navigate complex feelings. We work together to understand your unique situation, helping you find a grounded way forward. My aim is to offer steady support, allowing for genuine progress.

Approach

Experience lets me move quickly where it matters, keeping sessions focused, direct and quietly probing so you don’t waste time on what won’t change things. In my Montreal practice I meet people in English or français and offer the same steady pace online, too — short interventions, clear check-ins and room for silence when it’s needed. Sessions blend practical, paced work with deep listening; homework is minimal and purposeful. People juggling anxiety, burnout or stuck feelings often find this way of working useful.
