Ms Richa Mohta

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My approach is eclectic in nature, suited to each client's needs and unique experiences. Having some understanding of dance movment therapy, I also tend to intergrate practices/techniques that strengthens and utilises the wisdom that comes from body-mind connection.

About Me

I believe therapy works best when it truly fits you. My eclectic approach adapts to your unique journey, ensuring our work together feels deeply relevant. We can explore how your body holds experiences, using gentle movement-based practices to uncover deeper insights. This can be especially helpful if you seek to connect with your inner wisdom and find new ways forward.

Approach

Sessions move with gentle curiosity and practical rhythm, blending talk, short movement exercises and simple skills so insights feel embodied and usable. In Kolkata or online, in English or Hindi/Urdu, I hold sessions that are paced to your needs—steady for overwhelm, brisk for those juggling attention—and offer clear psychoeducation between meetings. We use ACT and CBT-informed experiments and small, lived practices to shift patterns rather than only analyse them. This way often suits people managing anxiety, ADHD-related focus struggles, low mood or persistent stress.
