Therapy is a space of careful listening and shared reflection. I work with people navigating emotional distress, life transitions, or a relationship difficulties. My approach is psychoanalytic, holistic, and grounded in each person’s unique context and lived experience.

About Me

As a psychoanalytic informed Clinical Psychologist, I offer a collaborative space to explore your unique story. I believe understanding your background, culture, and the many intersectional identities you carry is vital. We work together to make sense of how these elements shape your present experiences. This approach helps clients seeking a deeper, holistic understanding of themselves. You can find clarity and a path forward beyond isolated challenges.

Approach

I practice primarily from a psychoanalytically informed approach. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and at times integrate these skills-based interventions to support emotional regulation and day-to-day coping. While I believe coping skills are essential for functioning effectively, my passion lies in working more deeply with feelings, personal histories, and relational patterns in order to better understand what may be operating unconsciously in our lives. Exploring the meanings behind our patterns and the defences we enact can help us develop greater insight into how we engage with ourselves and others, allowing us to live in ways that feel more present, thoughtful, and effective. I also believe that individuals cannot be understood in isolation from the social and relational worlds they inhabit. I consider it deeply important to acknowledge and validate the different intersectionalities of identity, privilege, and marginalisation that shape our experiences. My work is therefore attentive to racial, gender, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent identities, and to the ways these experiences may inform psychological distress, relationships, and ways of being in the world.
