verified by TherapyRoute

I am a competent and warm Psychodynamic Psychotherapist who predominantly works with adolescents and adults. Although psychodynamic therapy is my preferred approach, I am invested in providing treatment and care uniquely tailored to my client's needs thus lending me to adopt an integrated modality when needed.

About Me

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist practising in Bryanston, Gauteng, South Africa. I work with you on life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQI+ concerns, and personal development. I offer intellectual and diagnostic assessments and family therapy in a confidential, practical setting.

Approach

Rebaone adopts a Psychodynamic approach to his psychotherapy treatment while remaining invested to adjusting his modality appropriately to fit the needs of his clients. Psychodynamic psychotherapy entails a careful exploration of a person's maladaptive patterns of coping and relating to oneself and others. It is through seeking to understand the origin of these patterns that are commonly formed for self-preservation from and throughout childhood, that a client gains in-depth insight into who they are and how they came to exist in the world the way they do. The aim is that these newfound insights about oneself thus translate into helpful skills that equip a person to better cope and navigate their stressors, emotions and relationships with those around them.
