Rachael Wolter

Licensed Professional Counselor

I have advanced training in sexuality issues and am passionate about helping monogamous, consensual non monogamous, heterosexual, and LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and partnered systems address intimacy and sexuality concerns in a sex positive manner. I also work with religious trauma resulting from purity culture.

About Me

I provide a supportive, sex-positive space to address intimacy and sexuality concerns. I welcome individuals, couples, and partnered systems from all relationship structures and sexual orientations. We can explore challenges openly, fostering deeper connection. I also compassionately support those healing from religious trauma, particularly from purity culture, helping them find clarity and peace. My aim is for you to feel truly understood.

Approach

Curiosity guides how we explore your values, boundaries, and desires so that the work feels practical and humane. In Akron or online, sessions move at a pace you set—sometimes focusing on concrete skills and communication, other times using gentle experiential or memory-focused techniques to shift stuck patterns between sessions. I invite collaboration: we’ll set small experiments, track what changes, and recalibrate together. This approach often fits adults and couples seeking clearer connection, safer pleasure, or healing after faith-based wounds.
