Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Verified

As a mental health counseling provider, I offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore challenges and build meaningful change. I use evidence-based, culturally sensitive approaches to help individuals strengthen coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and improve overall well-being. My goal is to partner with clients in a way that fosters trust, empowerment, and lasting growth.

About Me

With 9 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and intern, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to my work. My professional background also includes serving for 7 years school settings as a guidance counselor and ESE teacher, where I supported students’ academic, social, and emotional development. I am a proud mother to a 28-year-old d daughter and share my home with a lovable Shih Tzu and two spirited cats. Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing with family and friends and find joy in helping others however I can. Known for being highly detail-oriented, I strive to bring clarity and care to everything I do. I also believe that humor—used at the right moment—can be one of the best tools for connection and healing, because laughter truly is the best medicine.

Approach

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths. Together, we focus on creating meaningful, realistic changes that support both short-term relief and long-term growth.

Services

I am passionate about helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress management. I believe therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you feel truly heard, understood, and respected. What makes my practice unique is my use of humor—when appropriate—to help put you at ease and remind you that therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I am deeply passionate about this work and find great fulfillment in helping you not just cope, but truly thrive.
