I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic environment.”
About Me
I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist based in Nairobi, Kenya, working with adolescents and adults who are carrying difficult experiences and emotional pain. I work with people navigating abuse and violence, addiction, anxiety, relationship challenges, ADHD, and other psychological concerns.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and draws on approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic and narrative therapy, somatic psychotherapy, and relationship counselling. I also offer psychological assessment and work with suicide risk and prevention.
I am deeply committed to creating a space where people can speak honestly and freely about what hurts most. I strive to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, compassionate, and collaborative, where healing and meaningful change can unfold at a pace that feels right.
Approach
Healing often involves noticing how anxiety, trauma, depression, or other mental illnesses show up in the body, daily choices, and close relationships, and then slowing down to explore these patterns together. In sessions—whether face to face or online, I work at a pace that feels steady and supportive.
I pay close attention to bodily sensations, emotional responses, and relational patterns, and I gradually introduce practical skills that can be tried between sessions. When appropriate, psychological assessment helps clarify underlying patterns so we can identify small, achievable steps that support change without feeling overwhelming.
This approach may be helpful for adolescents, adults, couples, and families seeking grounded, embodied, and sustainable change.
